Overview
The industrial and logistics market continues to attract strong international investment, underpinned by its relative value and liquidity. Overseas buyers dominate activity, with North American investors accounting for over half of inflows, alongside growing interest from Europe and the Far East. Larger REITs are increasingly pursuing platform acquisitions to achieve scale. On the sell side, UK institutions are reducing exposure to legacy assets, US private equity is exiting assets acquired off the back of COVID and seeing the end of their 5 year business plan and local authorities are seeking capital receipts.
