Residential Auction Market

The first quarter of 2025 has generated confidence and renewed appetite amongst both established property companies and private investors to invest in UK residential property. Investors are choosing to invest in tangible secure investments with income streams or add value opportunities.

The Uk mortgage market has been relatively consistent within the first quarter of this year allowing buyers to purchase knowing that rates will remain steady without fluctuation. This alone creates greater stability and confidence for seasoned purchasers.

The residential auction team has sold in excess of £113.5m of property from January to March 25. The overall amount sold from March 24 to March 25 exceeds £659m at a success rate of 86% and represents a record year for the department. This performance exemplifies the broader positive trends in the UK Residential auction market.
