The residential development market continues to face significant challenges. Molior’s Q3 2025 London Development Update reported that 23 London Boroughs recorded zero private construction starts in Q1, reflecting the depth of the current slowdown. Projections suggest only 15,000 units will be under construction by January 2027, falling considerably short of London's housing needs.
